The Wondermakers Collective is a collaborative project created in 2015 by Mindy Sue Meyers and Jenna Freimuth. Rooted in the curiosity of what their collective creativity could yield, this collaborative pen-pal art project has evolved into a large body of abstract textile work that explores composition, color, texture, disruption, and wonder.
With Mindy and Jenna’s intuitive mark-making in response to one another, a series of densely embroidered textile compositions emerged. Throughout this process and the inherent pen-pal nature of their collaboration, they consider themes such as trust in one another, the strategic deployment of disruption as a creative tool, and the boundless horizons of evolving aesthetic sensibilities.
